In the near future, Norway is occupied by Russia on behalf of the European Union, due to the fact that the newly elected environmental friendly Norwegian government has stopped the all important oil- and gas-production in the North Sea。云隐镇上频发连环命案，一时间百姓人心惶惶，决定举行河神祭祀大典以求安宁。医师陶苒（铭亮饰）受命协查连环案，带着徒弟不苦在探案过程中误打误撞地救了目睹案发的小狐狸花枝，并结识了嗜酒如命的江湖术士肖叔。几人协力破案，一间绣坊吸引了他们的注意，真相逐渐浮出水面，怪事频发都与河神祭祀大典有着千丝万缕的联系…。
