Until one day they realized that if they were in there, they would never get out again.。军装警员张全直(黄日华)一次意外将关帝像下压着的清朝鬼阿贵放走，阎王准许阿贵暂借警察毛勇桂(罗清浩)的身体来做足一百件好事才让其轮回。其间，直与其女友凌巧儿(关咏荷)发生很多误会，直既失意于爱情，惟寄情于工作，得桂之助，破获大案，并凌巧儿修好。桂在轮回前要回清朝解决未了事，并透过时空交错重回清朝，但阴差阳错，最终.........。
