本片是一个发生在“美国梦”废墟下的爱情故事。Melissa是一家24小时便利店店员，和她瘫痪的男友Richie住在一家汽车旅馆里。突然有一天，Melissa 发现她怀孕了，于是他们开始兴奋地学习如何迎接一个新生命的降生。但是坏事接踵而来，Melissa失去了工作并且两人也被赶出了汽车旅馆...两人的生活和关系都面临困难的抉择。。Quinn, A Painter & Bartender wakes up one morning with a gun in his hand & his girlfriend dead on the floor...
