一个名叫丽贝卡的年轻女人。她离家很多年，但回到家之后依然摆脱不了内心挥之不去的童年阴影。这个可怕的梦魇就是，她在开关灯时，眼前出现的事物总是让她难以分辨真假。她的弟弟马丁现在也遭遇了她当年所经历的恐怖事件。在恐怖现象的背后，是一个恶灵在干扰着他们的生活，丽贝卡也决定这个这个恶灵周旋到底。不过这一次，丽贝卡比任何一次都要接近真相。。大街上，四女正拿着照片在到处问人寻找着失踪了的艾廸。雅曼似乎多次看到了艾廸，怎知转眼间，艾廸又消失了。翌日，空虚道长带着雅曼等人找来当地著名的天师——佛山上仙前来帮忙，但佛山上仙被艾廸上了身并且和雅曼谈情，后警示众人尽早离开……当佛山上仙再次施法时却被厉鬼打败，雅曼等人只好逃走，于是在荒野里展开了一场激烈的人魔大战……突然一声“卡”，导演大喊好，原来一切只是拍戏。最后在戏外，原来演幽灵的演员和雅曼的男友艾廸背地里真有故事……。A lonely tow-truck driver gets caught in a deadly struggle between a pair of bank robbers with a beautiful hostage, local cops, and a monster that has come down from the Arizona mountains to eat human flesh.
