艺术系女硕士伊夫琳为了她的学位论文准备实行一个改造男人计划，其貌不扬且害羞的亚当成了她的目标。伊夫琳的计划进展顺利，亚当从内到外焕然一新，然而吸引力倍增的亚当与好友的未婚妻发生关系，引来了一系列麻烦。当伊夫琳公开她的这个计划时，亚当已经难以分辨他和伊夫琳之间究竟有没有爱可言……。Kathryn Vale (Lena Olin) is a reclusive ex-movie star with a dark secret and a daughter hoping to follow in her mother's movie-star footsteps.
