制作团队表示，他们在重新阅读《哈利·波特与混血王子》时产生了一些好奇和启发，原著小说里有一段是讲述邓布利多教授带着哈利·波特，一起观看来自家养小精灵郝琪的回忆，描绘了赫普兹巴·史密斯以及收藏的赫奇帕奇和斯莱特林遗物的线索。这部自制电影就从这个点延伸出去的拓展剧情。 早在2016年时就由独立制片工作室「Tryangle Films」筹划拍摄，靠着集资网站来募款筹措资金，虽然一度被拥有《哈利波特》系列版权的片商华纳兄弟以侵犯权为由要求下架，但经过制作团队多次的沟通和协商后，华纳终于确定全面放行。。讲述了突然变成吸血鬼的男主角通过解决各种案件而逐渐揭开自己过去的秘密的故事。。Video artist Ryosuke visits the suburb of Furano in Hokkaido, where his friend lives, in order to shoot a video.
