生产队大食堂就要解散了，村民们都在发愁吃了这最后一顿，下一顿饭的着落。生产队长为了村民们的口粮，暗地里将大家缴的公粮每次都留下一部分，在最困难的时候将这些粮食分发给了村民们。有贵到隔壁村去看望老姑，正巧赶上桂枝的母亲病重，他不怕受传染将桂枝的母亲送往了卫生站……。Sixteen mustangs, four men, one dream: to ride border to border, Mexico to Canada, up the spine of the American West.
