王双今从乡下擅自前往城里儿子家照顾小孙子，却无意中发现儿子雇佣的育儿嫂疑是在逃的人贩子，面对儿子儿媳的质疑和育儿嫂的诬陷，王双今找到育儿嫂是人贩子的证据！。自称“天下第一恶”的江小鱼自小生活在恶人谷，在十恶李大嘴等人的抚养下，终日好整蛊恶搞，油嘴滑舌，却心地善良、纯真可爱。小鱼儿行走江湖，与英气逼人的花无缺不打不相识。随着接触深入，小鱼儿和花无缺变成一对亦敌亦友的朋友。原来花无缺从小被移花宫主邀月收养，授其武功，宫主为了报复花无缺和小鱼儿的生父江枫，故意将二人分开抚养，待二人长大相互残杀。与此同时，江别鹤、江玉郎两父子正谋划着一场更大的武林阴谋，螳螂捕蝉，黄雀在后，一场事关武林生死存亡的腥风血雨旋即展开。小鱼儿与花无缺终于识破了宫主的阴谋和诡计，携手平息了江湖的恩怨与挑战。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
